After another break giving us a week off, this match had to be played at half term which gave us an issue with some lads being away. Also, we now have an absent 'keeper and we have set about signing a relacement.
Playing against 10 men is never easy so we were hoping to make life difficult for Bracknell. With two "fluke" goals they were possibly flattered but were playing some good football by half time, as we found ourselves 3-0 down. Man of the Match for the second match in a row went to our 'keeper Charlie who made some really good stops. Just like a few years ago this, seeing him back there in goal.
So we began the second half on a pitch that was beginning to get very boggy in the centre but had thawed out well. If we had 10 players maybe this would have been a different match as we could have used the wings a lot more. That said, we did not "lose" this second half. A low hard shot from David found its way into the net from the edge of the area and a fantastic free kick into the top left hand corner from AJ gave the scoreline a more respectable look and a 2-2 second half draw.
From now on we need to get back on track and play some football again. This will not be easy but we still have games in hand and there is all to play for as the division is very close.
