After a hard won win last week, this game was never going to be easy. Both teams seemed evenly matched early in the game, with Myles making a couple of good saves, Charlie going close when one on one with the keeper, Oisin hitting the post with a shot and Sam missing a sitter near the end of the first half.

The second half started the same but after some missed tackles on the edge of the area, Yateley scored with the ball going in off the bottom of the right goal post. Both teams seemed to cancel each other out and as the game neared the end, Yateley had one hopeful shot, which squirmed under our keeper.

I don’t think we played badly and the score does not do us justice, just a bad day at the office!
