Matches against the sides above us are beginning to turn in our favour it would seem. We lost 1-0 at their place earlier in the season having defended well and deserved more. This return fixture provided evidence that we can defend a narrow lead. Although in truth we had more possession and played the better football so didn't have to defend as much.

Charlie's headed winner came early on. Ben's excellent cross from the right provided our top scorer with his 11th of the season and only in the third minute of the match. It seemed to be in slow motion as it dropped to the 'keepers right corner. This came immediately after we allowed Dynamos their best chance of scoring when we failed to clear a diagonal ball across goal. Fortunately, poor finishing let our opponents down. Nick made a couple of excellent point blank saves during the first half which made me realise that we would not concede even if we had played for a lot longer than 80 minutes. He was solid whenever called upon and controlled his area well.

The longer the game wore on the more desperate Dynamos became and appealed for some unbelievable decisions. We stood firm throughout and played some more excellent football as we seem to be doing week in, week out. Oli was brilliant for the whole game and won Man of the Match for his efforts. The whole team worked hard for each other and gained a great result against a side we knew could be beaten. With two games left it seems a shame the season has to end as we are now getting really good results.
