Another tough test against a top side from the division.
Another one passed with flying colours.
We outplayed Ascot for long periods and had the lions share of possession.
We can compete at this level and deservedly so.
After a temporary slip-up against Reeves last week, we returned to being the team we can be.
Myles making some excellent stops but could have read the paper during the second half he had so little to do.
Kurt, Ross and David coped well with the sharp one-touch football we knew our opponents were capable of.
Daniel put in a fantastic Man of the Match performance in midfield,
along with Nick, Chris, Ben, Alex and the reliable Oli
all playing important roles throughout.
All we needed was a finish on the end of one of our flowing moves.
Fozzy, Charlie, Taylor and Ell fought hard with constant running up front, costantly forcing errors from Ascot's defence.
We had chances, more so after the break but could not find a way through.
Overall though, another clean sheet is really pleasing and the workrate all over the pitch was excellent.
Keep this up and we could still finish higher in the table.
