Having not played since early January this was always going to be a scrappy match
and the pitch did nothing to help.
It seemed that all the loose balls and rebounds ended up with a Maidenhead player.
We temporarily lost Myles from goal after he recieved a boot on his knee when saving bravely at feet,
which he did on numerous occasions.
Nick took over in goal and did extremely well
and later when back on outfield duties found lots of space in the midfield area.
That was the story as we kept finding good positions but not making it count.
Greg took a knock but got up and carried on,
Charlie, Ell, Jono and Oli kept running
and Maidenhead's 'keeper seemed to be first to the ball every time.
The first goal was from a corner and we were simply second to the ball.
I think the other two in the second half we just went to sleep and stopped running.
This may be down to having a couple of weeks off
but we will have to sort it out before we play the other top teams.
Ross again won Man of the Match for a superb performance at the back.
His reading of the game sems to get better each week.
