Again, looking at the table, this was going to be close. Sure enough, we were not to be disappointed in that aspect. We were a little disappointed however as the manner our opponents play was over physical to say the least.

In a highly competitive and physical game we were on top for most of the first half. Jono was constantly tearing past defenders and after rounding the 'keeper on one occasion, had a close angled shot cleared at the near post. Had he not had to come off early due to injury, he may have won the match for us. Rest well and come back stronger. A brilliant attacking display in the short time he played though. Eventually, Daniel produced a lovely finish from outside the box, which seems to be his trademark.

Whitegrove levelled before half time, against the run of play. Early in the second half, we had chances to win. Chris had a fine shot saved, Taylor again got into a great position in the box but shot agonisingly wide of the post and Elliot kept working into great positions. But the problem still remains, we could not score another and payed the price as we conceded two soft goals.

Ross had a fantastic game and received Man of the Match for his reading of the game and challenges in one on one situations. Never has that been more deserved. As far as possession goes I believe we are matching all the teams in the division and all we have to do is score goals. Do not feel down about this result, we are playing good football and the results will come....... Onwards into 2008 and more goals and wins.
