After a delayed kick off due to a complication over pitches and their condition, we got a game on. It was well worth waiting for as well. We had a problem awarding the man of the match this week. Despite the scoreline, this was a very even game. Both sides competed well and at times we were on top and got caught on the break. Alex scored his first goal for the club with a well taken effort and Sumir nicked us a well earned second. If I'd had 16 medals each player including the subs, would have been given one.

In the end Elliot won player of the match for the second week running. Even the Kestrels lads said he kept the score down. Oisin had a fine game in the middle and won the trophy. Sam F also played well, usually alone up front, he dropped to left mid and gave us a much more competetive edge and supply route to our strikers. He saw a lot more of the ball and used it positively. Watch this space with that change.
