We witnessed a very competitive game between two evenly matched teams.
The first half featured some strong penetrating attacks by Woodley.
If it wasn't for some solid goalkeeping by Henry and energetic defending by Jasper, Alex, Joe and Thomas, Hurst could easily have gone behind.
When Hurst did get the chance to attack, Ollie and James combined well and James duly delivered a goal with his first shot of the day.
In the second half, Woodley came out all guns blazing and took advantage of a slight loss of concentration in the Hurst defence.
With the score now level the game really opened up and both teams went in search of an illusive second goal.
Amber, Thomas and Jasper all defended really well.
Once, when the Woodley forwards did get beyond them, Joe was perfectly positioned to make a fine save which was then followed by a heroic off the line clearance by Alex.
Jasper was in cracking form (Champagne moment was a terrific clearing header) and won the player of the day.
